Montana State University architecture professor Ferd Johns has been named one of the top architecture professors in the country by the Association for the Collegiate Schools of Architecture. Students were featured on the front cover of Abergris Today, the newspaper of Abergris Cayte, Belize, Central America for their work in San Pedro. It is given to those educators that have a 'positive, stimulating, and nurturing influence upon students' and/or have 'inspired a generation of students who themselves have contributed to the advancement of architecture.' 3rd year student Shane Wallace's project 'Bending Perceptions' was awarded Second Place in the 2006-07 ACSA/AISC Steel Design Student Competition - Museum of Steel (Category 1).  Ciaran Fitzgerald was the Adjunct Instructor of record.
